As the U.S. The Department of Commerce (DOC) prepares to make new policies, the agency recently requested public input on what role “the government should play in promoting Business Diversity within the private sector.” In response, we helped Main Street Alliance, an organization that represents small business interests, prepare a letter that lays out clear evidence that promoting diversity is good for business, and that the government can and should help further that effort.
In the letter, Main Street Alliance shows how diversity in business is vital for economic growth; capitalizing on opportunities; and improving collaboration, creativity, and innovation.
