Ross Snyder is a Legal Fellow at Democracy Forward.
Ross graduated from Stanford Law School in 2025, where he served as Executive Editor of the Stanford Law Review, a Civil Justice Fellow with the Rhode Center on the Legal Profession, a research intern with the Stanford Centerfor Racial Justice, student leader of the Social Security Disability Pro Bono Project, co-president of the Law & Political Economy group, and member of the Community Law Clinic, among other roles. During his 1L summer, Ross defended against evictions in New York housing court with LSNYC, and during his 2L summer, he worked with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division in the Appellate Section.
Prior to law school, Ross graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in government and history from Georgetown University and received his M.Phil. in Comparative Politics from the University of Oxford. After his fellowship, he will serve as a law clerk for Judge Charles Breyer on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and for Judge Veronica S. Rossman on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit in his hometown, Denver.
