Before joining Democracy Forward, Nicole worked as a freelance paralegal, independently managing a diverse litigation caseload, supporting SEC rulemaking and compliance initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance legal and regulatory goals. Her experience spans federal, state, and local jurisdictions, and she is proficient in legal technologies, including iManage, Filevine, SharePoint, and Coyote.

Nicole previously served as a litigation paralegal at Ashcraft & Gerel LLP in Washington, DC, and as a senior litigation paralegal at W. Winston Briggs Law Firm in Atlanta, GA. In these roles, she managed high-volume personal injury caseloads, drafted complex legal documents, coordinated depositions, and provided essential trial support. She also played a key role in training new staff and supporting operational efficiency.

Nicole holds an Associate of Applied Business degree in Paralegal Studies from Brown Mackie College. She is known for her attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and stakeholders.
