Mya Pak is the Director of People & Culture at Democracy Forward.

With over 10 years of experience in Human Resources and People Management, Mya has focused her career on building and nurturing inclusive, people-centered workplace cultures. Her expertise spans industries including law, mission-driven non-profits, and politically progressive organizations.

Mya is dedicated to fostering employee engagement, developing leaders, and creating environments where individuals and teams can thrive. Most recently, she served as Director of People Operations at Accountable.US, where she enhanced HR infrastructure, implemented policies and procedures to support organizational growth, and strengthened workplace culture through strategic training initiatives. Prior to that, she was Associate HR Director at Indivisible Project, where she led union labor relations and oversaw comprehensive HR and people management functions. She also gained valuable experience in full-cycle recruitment and talent development at law firms, including Williams & Connolly LLP and WilmerHale.
