Previously, Lydia worked as a social media producer for Fast Company Magazine, specializing in short-form video, social copy, and audience engagement. Before transitioning to social media, she also worked as a news reporter for newspapers in California and Indiana, covering breaking news and far-right extremism.

Lydia earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in journalism and international studies from Indiana University.
