Juanita is a litigation paralegal and legal operations professional with more than two decades of experience supporting complex litigation, appellate, and employment law matters across the public and private sectors. Before joining Democracy Forward, she served in key roles at firms including Baker Hostetler, Morgan Lewis & Bockius, and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, where she led case management, e-discovery, and team development initiatives. A Certified Diversity Professional, Juanita is deeply committed to advancing equity and inclusion in the legal field and beyond. She has collaborated with Maryland youth organizations to promote belonging and inclusion through education and community engagement.

Juanita holds an M.B.A. and an M.A. in Marketing from the University of Maryland.
