Hesu Song is a Legal Oversight Assistant at Democracy Forward.
Prior to joining Democracy Forward, Hesu was an honors paralegal at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, where he assisted enforcement attorneys in investigating and litigating predatory companies in the financial services industry. He spent a year teaching English at a university in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia through a Princeton in Asia fellowship and interned in the White House’s Office of Presidential Correspondence in the Biden-Harris administration.
Hesu received his B.A. in Political Science and International Studies from Johns Hopkins University. He hopes to build a career focused on promoting the rule of law to ensure protections for individuals.
