Erin Simard

Legal Assistant

Erin Simard is a Legal Assistant at Democracy Forward.

Prior to joining, Erin worked as a Legal Assistant for Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight, a private civil rights firm. In this role, Erin was staffed on several civil cases and assisted the firm in securing the country’s largest verdict rendered against a gun dealer.

Erin received her B.S. in Psychology from Davidson College in Davidson, N.C. During her undergraduate education, Erin completed internships with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and the Allegheny County Office of the Public Defender. She intends to pursue a career in impact litigation.
