Dhanya Babu

Democracy 2025 Associate

Dhanya Babu is a Democracy 2025 Associate at Democracy Forward.

Prior to joining Democracy Forward, Dhanya worked as an Administrative Management Specialist at Peace Corps in Washington D.C. supporting the operational functions of overseas programming and training for volunteers. She also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Benin from 2022-2024, working as an English teacher. She implemented youth empowerment programs and facilitated professional development workshops to support the capacity building of teachers at her school.

Dhanya received her B.S. in Human Development and B.A. in Communication along with a minor in Sociology from Virginia Tech.
