Chelsey Thomas is a Legal Assistant at Democracy Forward.

Prior to joining, Chelsey worked for an environmental agency and a nonprofit organization focused on ending homelessness in the DMV area. Chelsey is incredibly passionate about serving underdeveloped communities, and firmly believes local actions can enact global change. She intends to get her paralegal certification in the future.

Chelsey completed her B.A. in International Relations, where she was awarded the Joseph H. Melrose Award, and her M.A. in Global Security while creating and implementing programs dedicated to encouraging students’ participation in community organizing.
