Anna Pacilio

Director of Media Relation

Anna Pacilio is the Director of Media Relations at Democracy Forward.

She has over a decade of experience managing executive, political, and crisis communications at nonprofits, on presidential campaigns, at PR  firms, research orgs, and in Congress. She’s an on-the-record spokesperson who has successfully grown media organizations, rolled out new CEOs across industries, rebranded institutional orgs, and cultivated relationships with print journalists, TV producers, and on new media platforms.

She most recently led media relations for the President & CEO of Reproductive Freedom for All, Mini Timmaraju, and in 2024, she helped shape Timmaraju into the Harris-Walz campaign’s top abortion surrogate, leading media bookings at the Democratic Convention, the presidential debate, and on the Reproductive Freedom bus tour.
