Aba Tieku

Legal Assistant

Aba Tieku is a Legal Assistant at Democracy Forward.

Prior to joining Democracy Forward, Aba worked as a case coordinator at the Exoneration Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to exonerating innocent and wrongfully incarcerated individuals. She has also previously worked at Democracy Docket, where she researched voting rights and democracy related litigation, and Hecker Fink, where she supported attorneys litigating complex commercial, white collar, and high-stakes public interest cases.

Aba received her B.A. in Government and Philosophy from the College of William & Mary. She hopes to one day become a public interest attorney.
