WASHINGTON – In a whiplash-inducing turn of events, the Trump-Vance administration today reversed its decision to abandon its appeals in a series of four cases challenging the president’s executive orders that targeted law firms he didn’t like. Democracy Forward President & CEO Skye Perryman issued the following statement regarding the rapid about-face:
“This abandonment of their abandonment is another example of the chaos and instability that defines the Trump-Vance administration. We will continue to monitor these cases, and all others, in which this administration undermines the rule of law. We have confidence that the Constitution is on the side of the firms targeted and that the administration will continue to lose in court.”
