Josephine “Jodie” Morse is Senior Counsel at Democracy Forward. Prior to joining Democracy Forward, Jodie served as a Senior Special Counsel and Counselor to the General Counsel for the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission. Before joining the government, she was a litigator at WilmerHale.

Jodie received her law degree magna cum laude from the New York University School of Law and clerked for the Honorable Harry T. Edwards of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and the Honorable Raymond J. Dearie of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Before becoming a lawyer, Jodie was a journalist at Time Magazine and National Journal and received a BA magna cum laude from Yale University.
